Ingredients

  • 200 g nettles
  • 25 g butter
  • salt and pepper
  • Nutmeg, grated
  • 2 tablespoon crème fraîche or sour cream
  • 40 g almond sticks, toasted or pine nuts

Instructions

  1. Use stinging nettle leaves that are as young as possible and not too large.
  2. Briefly blanch the nettles and sauté in melted butter. Steam with the pot open for 5 minutes. Mix with the crème fraîche and season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Serve sprinkled with toasted almond sticks.
  3. Boiled potatoes and fried eggs go well with it.
