Ingredients

  • 8 turkey or pork schnitzel
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 tablespoon oil
  • 1 packet cheese, grated
  • 500 ml vegetable stock
  • 4 onion (s)
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • 4 tablespoon crème fraîche

Instructions

  1. Cut the schnitzel to the required size, wash and pat dry. Rub with salt and pepper. In the meantime, heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan and briefly sear the meat. Spread the schnitzel on a deep baking sheet.
  2. Cut the onions into rings, sweat in 2 tablespoons of heated oil, pour 500 ml of lukewarm vegetable stock, bind with the flour and the créme fraiche and pour over the schnitzel.
  3. Put the tray in the preheated oven and cook at 180 ° C for about 30 minutes. Pull out the tray, spread the grated cheese over it and put it back in the oven for another 10 minutes to bake.
  4. It goes very well with fresh baguette (especially for licking the sauce), rice and noodles and a green salad.
