  • 400 g Spaghetti
  • 700 ml Grated tomatoes
  • 350 g Ground beef
  • 1 Onion
  • 15 g Parmesan
  • Salt, dried oregano, olive oil, fresh basil
  • 1 Bay leaf

Instructions

  1. Grate the tomatoes.
  2. Chop the onion quite finely. You can also chop carrots finely, but I cook as they like in our family, i.e. without carrots. Fry the onion in a small amount of olive oil until transparent and light golden brown.
  3. Add ground beef to the onion, and fry for five minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. Pour grated tomatoes into the meat. Season with salt, sprinkle with oregano, add bay leaf and finely chopped basil. And leave on low heat with the lid open for 40 minutes to thicken the sauce.
  5. Boil the pasta in boiling salted water until it is al dente.
  6. Add to the sauce one not full ladle of water in which the pasta was cooked, the released starch will add more thickness to our sauce. Stir the sauce. And we serve.
  7. Put a portion of pasta on your favorite plate, put our sauce on top, sprinkle with Parmesan and decorate with a sprig of basil.
