Ingredients

  • 1 large onion (s)
  • 2 cloves garlic)
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 5 carrot (s)
  • 1 packet bacon cubes (approx. 25 g)
  • 500 g round beef
  • 2 tablespoon tomato paste
  • red wine
  • 1 glass beef stock (approx. 200 - 250 ml)
  • 800 g tomatoes, passed
  • 1 dash milk
  • Salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder, smoked
  • chili
  • Mugwort
  • 500 g pasta your choice

Instructions

  1. First wash or clean the vegetables. Chop the onion, garlic and celery into small pieces. Then grate the carrots.
  2. Bring a saucepan to heat, add the bacon and sweat together with the onions. Now add the garlic, celery and carrots. Wait a moment, then add the mince and fry everything until there is no more liquid in the pan. Now add tomato paste, mix everything and deglaze with red wine. Mix everything together and then add the beef stock, the tomatoes and a dash of milk. Season with any spices - I always use salt, pepper, smoked paprika powder, chilli and a little mugwort. Let it cook for 1 1/4 hours, stirring about every 10 minutes.
  3. About 10 minutes before it`s done, cook the pasta until it is al dente according to the instructions on the packet.
  4. Then arrange everything together.
