Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 3 cup flour
  • 2 cup / s sugar
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 cup carbonated mineral water
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 1 lemon (s), the juice it

For decoration:

  • 250 g dark chocolate couverture
  • 250 g couverture, white
  • 36 chocolate chips
  • 18 chocolate lentils, yellow or orange

Instructions

  1. 1 cup corresponds to a small coffee cup and has a capacity of approx. 125 ml.
  2. Put the ingredients for the dough in a bowl and stir with the mixer. Line a muffin tin with muffin paper liners, alternatively grease the mold and fill each half with the batter. Bake the muffins at 180 degrees fan-assisted or 200 degrees top-bottom heat for 20-25 minutes. Then let the muffins cool down.
  3. Put the white and brown couverture each in a bowl and melt over a water bath. The lower 2/3 of the muffins are coated with the white couverture. Work with a spoon or wooden stick and draw a heart shape on the lower 2/3 of the muffins. In the upper semicircles of the heart, place two drops of chocolate cod as eyes. Poke a small slit in the muffin with a knife and place a chocolate lentil for a beak.
  4. The upper third is coated with the dark chocolate couverture.
