  • 800 g beef, (beef rump)
  • 3 baguette (s), for baking
  • 4 onion (s)
  • 250 g processed cheese
  • 300 g cheese, rated cheddar cheese
  • 100 ml cream
  • salt and pepper
  • oil

Instructions

  1. First cut the meat into thin slices, not too big, otherwise you will have problems packing the sandwich.
  2. Then salt and pepper.
  3. Cut the onions into cubes and then sweat them in a little oil until they turn lightly brown. Put aside.
  4. In another pot, dissolve the processed cheese in the cream and also melt the grated cheese in it. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  5. Put the baguettes in the oven, do not finish baking, as they will be finished later. 3 minutes should be enough.
  6. Now fry the meat in a pan, not on the highest setting, it is enough to cook the meat.
  7. Take the baguettes out of the oven and cut lengthways. First spread the cheese sauce, then add the meat and pour the cheese sauce over it again.
  8. Now in the oven again until the baguette has reached the desired browning.
  9. Finally, pour onions over the top and enjoy the sandwich.
