Ingredients

  • 4 pork schnitzel
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • salt and pepper
  • 200 g canned pineapple
  • 4 slices cheese (Edam cheese)
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 4 tablespoon oil
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Flour
  • 1 lemon (s)

Instructions

  1. Cut a pocket into each schnitzel and rub with mustard and pepper.
  2. Pour the drained pineapple and cheese into the pockets and close the openings with wooden sticks.
  3. Mix the egg with a little salt and 3 tablespoons of water. Turn the schnitzel first in the flour, then in the egg and breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat the oil, fry the schnitzel in it, then fry until crispy, turn more often.
  5. Serve the schnitzel with lemon wedges.
