Ingredients

  • 0.5 liter ½ beer (wheat beer, other things are also possible), lukewarm
  • 500g flour
  • 1 cube yeast
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm beer. Add salt and sugar. Then use the dough hook to add enough flour until the dough no longer sticks to the edge and is nice and smooth (depends on the beer, so there can be more flour). Let the dough rise for about 60 minutes.
  2. Then knead again and roll out on a prepared baking sheet.
  3. Then bake in the preheated oven at the highest temperature (250 ° C or more) for about 1-2 minutes. Then a fine crust has formed and the dough stays nice and dry and does not water through.
  4. Now top with the ingredients of your choice. Put it back in the hot oven and bake for about 20 minutes.
  5. The quantities given are sufficient for a large baking sheet.
