Instructions

  1. Wash the plums well, stone them and place in a bowl. Sprinkle the preserving sugar on the plums and let stand for a while.
  2. Chop the plums well with a magic wand! Add the vanilla sugar and season to taste with cinnamon (I use about 1 pinch for the amount).
  3. Put the plum mixture in a large saucepan. The pot should only be half full (splashes and bubbles a lot)! Put the stove on full heat and heat the mass. Always stir well so that it doesn`t burn. When the mixture boils, let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. Then pour the boiling mass into clean glasses and close with a twist-off lid. Turn the glasses upside down and let them cool.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
