Ingredients

  • 1 head pointed cabbage or white cabbage
  • 3 tablespoon mustard (white sausage mustard) or sweet mustard
  • butter
  • some salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Wash off the cabbage, remove the first 3-4 leaves from the outside. Now halve or quarter the cabbage lengthways and cut out the stalk. Leave thick leaves that do not belong to the stalk on. Divide the cabbage lengthways into eighths and cut two eighths at a time from thick to thin into strips.
  2. Melt a good portion of butter in the pan over medium heat, then add the cabbage strips and season with salt. Fry in the butter for 6 minutes over light to medium heat, stir and turn and add butter if necessary.
  3. After the 6 minutes, turn the heat to maximum, let it turn lightly brown for 1.5 minutes. Then remove the pan from the plate, add the veal sausage mustard and roughly salt and pepper - stir again and remove from the pan.
