Pork Kebab Marinated with Tomato Juice

One of the simplest is a kebab marinade with tomato juice. Pork in tomato marinade, grilled on charcoal, has a rich maroon colour. Tomato juice gives the meat a slight sourness and piquancy.

Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • Pork – 1.5 kg
  • Tomato juice (natural, no salt) – 400 ml
  • Barbecue seasoning – 5 g (1 teaspoon)
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

Directions

  1. To make the kebab juicy and tender, take only natural tomato juice for the marinade.
  2. Wash the meat under running water, cut it into large cubes. We send the meat to the bowl.
  3. Add tomato juice, barbecue seasoning, salt and pepper to the meat.
  4. We mix. Carefully rub the marinade into the meat and send it to the refrigerator. Pork should be marinated for at least 4 hours.
  5. We string pork in tomato marinade on skewers.
  6. We put coal on the grill and kindle a fire. When the coals are burned out, pour water over the flame so that there is no open fire.
  7. We send kebabs to the grill.
  8. Cook the pork skewers for about 30 minutes, turning the skewers every 5 minutes.
  9. We remove the kebab from the fire.
  10. Pork shashlik in tomato marinade is ready, serve it to the table.
