Kebab in a Pan (Pork)

I love kebab, but there is not always time to go to a picnic. This is a variant of homemade barbecue, it is also delicious in a pan.

Cook: 50 mins

Servings: 6


  • Pork – 1 kg
  • Bulb onions – 3 pcs.
  • Lemon – 0.5 pcs.
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Favourite spices – to taste
  • Vegetable oil – 3 tbsp
  • Water – 200-230 g


  1. Wash and dry the meat. Cut into chunks.
  2. Peel and wash the onions. Cut into half rings. Salt the onion with coarse salt, mash it well.
  3. Put the meat in a bowl, add the onion. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon into a glass, add water to the top. Add your favourite spices to the meat. Mix well. Pour lemon juice and water into meat and onions. Mix everything together and mash with your hands. Marinate for 5-10 hours.
  4. Preheat a frying pan, pour in vegetable oil. Put the meat without onion in the pan (squeeze the meat slightly). Fry pork skewers in a pan over high heat on one side until golden brown (3-5 minutes).
  5. Then turn over and fry the kebab in the same pan on the other side.
  6. Cover the shish kebab, simmer the shish kebab in a pan over the lowest heat for about 30 minutes. If there is not enough juice, you can add a little marinade. When the meat is ready, if desired, you can put onions, mix well. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
  7. Pork shashlik in a pan is ready. Serve kebab with fresh vegetables.
