Potato Croquettes with Shrimps

Croquettes are a French hot dish that is round or oval in shape. It is made from many products, for example, I suggest potatoes. And there will also be an unusual filling. Read on!

Ingredients

  • Potatoes – 100 Grams
  • Shrimp – 400 Grams
  • Butter – 30 Grams
  • Bread crumbs – 60 grams
  • Onions – 1 Piece
  • Egg – 1 Piece
  • Vegetable oil – 200 Milliliters
  • Water – 2 Art. spoons
  • Milk – 2 tbsp
  • Nutmeg – 1 Pinch
  • Salt – To taste
  • Ground black pepper – To taste
  • Shrimp Seasoning – To taste

Directions

  1. Boil potatoes until tender. Then, mash it. Fry the chopped onions in oil until tender.
  2. Boil the shrimps in boiling water with seasoning for 2-4 minutes. Then cool and clean them.
  3. Combine shrimp with mashed potatoes, onions, milk, salt, nutmeg and pepper. Stir the mixture.
  4. Form into croquettes (balls) from the puree. Dip them in an egg, beaten with water, then roll in breadcrumbs.
  5. Fry the croquettes in a large amount of oil in a skillet or deep-fry.
