Puff Roll with Apples

You can make a puff roll with apples with the addition of cinnamon, raisins and nuts. This puff pastry delicacy is prepared in just 30 minutes. But pastries are worth any festive table.

Servings: 4-6

Ingredients

  • Puff pastry – 500 Grams
  • Apples – 3 Pieces
  • Cinnamon – To taste
  • Nuts – To taste (optional)
  • Powdered Sugar – To taste
  • Yolk – 1 Piece (for greasing)

Directions

  1. An excellent and quick recipe, especially if you have puff pastry. So, first we cut the apples. Nuts can be added if desired, but this will take a little more time to chop and toast.
  2. Roll out the dough, sprinkle with cinnamon. The dough should be thin and wide enough to be wrapped in several layers.
  3. We spread our filling in the middle. The dough layer can be smeared with melted butter.
  4. We wrap our strudel: we immediately close the edges, and then we begin to wrap it (like stuffed pancakes).
  5. It turns out to be about 40 centimeters long. We coat the top with yolk.
  6. And send it to an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
  7. We take out our puff pastry roll with apples and let it stand for a while. Then sprinkle with icing sugar and chop.
  8. Cut into portions and serve.
