  • 1 kg pumpkin (se) (Hokkaido)
  • some salt and pepper
  • some nutmeg, freshly grated
  • 2 tablespoon rapeseed oil

Instructions

  1. Halve the pumpkin and scrape out the soft inside and seeds with a tablespoon. Cut the pumpkin into wedges and peel with a peeler.
  2. Spread the pumpkin slices on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in a hot oven at 200 ° C (top / bottom heat) in the middle of the oven for 40 minutes until soft (convection is not recommended).
  3. Put the pumpkin in a saucepan and season with salt, pepper and freshly grated nutmeg. Mash with a potato masher and stir in 2 - 3 tablespoons of rapeseed oil.
  4. This goes well with my beef roulades stroganoff.
