Raisin Loaf

The raisin loaf is a simple and delicious pastry that a novice chef can do. The recipe below is prepared quickly and from available products. Take a note and prepare delicious pastries!

Ingredients

  • Yeast – 13 Grams (pressed)
  • Milk – 250 Milliliters
  • Sugar – 4 Tbsp. spoons
  • Salt – 1 Pinch
  • Vegetable oil – 4 Art. spoons
  • Raisins – 50 Grams
  • Wheat flour – 450-500 grams

Directions

  1. Prepare the required ingredients.
  2. Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm milk. Leave it in a warm place for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Rinse the raisins and soak in cold water.
  4. After the time has passed, add the egg to the yeast mixture and mix well.
  5. Add some of the flour, stir with a spoon.
  6. Pour in the remaining flour, add vegetable oil. Knead with a spoon, when it becomes difficult to mix, knead with your hands.
  7. The finished dough should be soft, pliable and not sticky to your hands. Round it up. Place in oiled bowl. Cover with a towel and leave to rise for 1.5 hours in a warm place.
  8. Over time, the dough will noticeably increase in volume.
  9. Transfer the dough to a work surface and roll it into a layer 0.5 cm thick.
  10. Tuck the edges of the layer.
  11. Roll up the roll. Shape the loaf.
  12. Put the future loaf on a baking sheet covered with paper. Make three slant cuts with a sharp knife. Cover with a towel. Leave to proof for 1 hour. Then brush with an egg. Put in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Consider the characteristics of your oven!
  13. Grease the finished loaf with butter, cover with a cloth or paper and leave in the oven with the door open for half an hour. After the time has passed, chill the loaf well and serve.
