Rolls With Cucumber and Trout

A very quick and easy way to make popular Japanese rolls at home. I propose to cook rolls with cucumber and red fish (trout).

Cook: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Boiled rice)
  • Fresh cucumber
  • Red fish (trout), slightly salted
  • Cream cheese (soft)
  • Nori
  • Soy sauce

Directions

  1. Prepare the ingredients for making cucumber and trout rolls.
    You will also need a bamboo mat to wrap the rolls more easily.
    Boil the rice in advance (for 0.5 cups of rice – 1 cup of water).
    Wash the cucumber and cut into long strips.
    Chop the red lightly salted fish.
  2. How to make cucumber and trout rolls:
    Place the nori leaf on the mat, glossy side down. Spread the rice evenly from above with your hands.
  3. Then place the soft cheese on top of the rice, spreading it over the center.
  4. Put the cucumber on top.
  5. Put slices of slightly salted trout on the cucumber.
  6. Now wrap the roll up by lifting the edge of the mat.
  7. Try to wrap it tightly, lightly pressing down on the bamboo mat.
  8. Transfer the roll to the board. Cut into equal pieces with a sharp knife.
  9. Top the rolls with cucumber and trout, pour soy sauce. Rolls with red fish and cucumber are ready!
