Ingredients

  • 12 slices ham
  • 1 can black salsify (s)
  • 500 ml cream
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 100 g Emmentaler, rated
  • 100 g Sbrinz, rated
  • salt and pepper
  • cognac
  • Paprika powder
  • Curry powder
  • some parsley
  • Butter for the mold

Instructions

  1. Halve the ham slices. Drain the salsify and wrap each (or several) in half a slice of ham. Place in a buttered baking dish.
  2. Whisk the cream, egg yolks and grated cheese together. Season to your own taste. Season with a few spritzes of cognac. Pour everything over the salsify ham rolls.
  3. Gratinate in a hot oven at 220 ° C top / bottom heat for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley.
  4. Cooked rice goes well with it.
