Sandwiches “March 8”

These bright and original festive sandwiches in honor of March 8 will definitely be loved by lovely ladies! It will not be difficult to prepare them, but what a beauty the result is! And the symbolic eight of halves of cherry tomatoes, and sprigs of mimosa from dill and egg yolk … Edible cards, and nothing more!

Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • Baton – 4 slices
  • Cream cheese – 1 tbsp
  • Cherry tomatoes – 4 pcs.
  • Boiled egg yolk – 1 pc.
  • Fresh herbs (dill, parsley) – a few twigs
  • Sunflower oil – 1 tbsp

Directions

  1. Fry the loaf slices in a frying pan with a little oil on both sides until light golden brown. If desired, the loaf can be dried in the oven or toaster rather than frying.
  2. Put the fried loaf slices on a plate and let cool.
  3. Then brush them on one side with cream cheese. You can also use soft cream cheese or curd cheese – choose a spread to your liking.
  4. Wash the cherry tomatoes, cut each tomato in half.
  5. Place the cherry halves on the sandwiches, cut side down, two on the sandwich, making eights.
  6. Rinse greens (dill and parsley), dry. Place the dill sprigs and parsley leaves on the sandwiches near the tomato eights.
  7. Peel the hard-boiled and cooled egg. We only need the yolk.
  8. Grate the yolk in a separate bowl on a fine grater. Using a teaspoon and not overdoing it, lightly crush the dill sprigs with the egg yolk to simulate mimosa flowers.
