Ingredients

  • 5 cm ginger
  • 6 clove (s) garlic
  • some oil (sesame oil)
  • 1 ½ tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 200 ml coconut milk
  • 1 teaspoon, leveled curry paste, red
  • some curry powder
  • some ground cumin
  • some five-spice powder
  • some coriander, ground
  • 2 dashes soy sauce
  • some chilli, dried and crushed
  • 3 teaspoon peanut butter (with pieces)
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 2 dashes lime juice

Instructions

  1. Peel and grate the ginger and roast in sesame oil together with the finely chopped garlic and sesame seeds. Deglaze with coconut milk. Simmer with the spices, soy sauce, peanut butter, honey and a little lime juice, stirring until smooth. Season to taste and let cool.
  2. Goes well with the chicken skewers, where the strips of meat are skewered like an accordion.
