Ingredients
- 500 g spelled flour
- 200 g wholemeal spelled flour
- 1 pack dry yeast
- 400 ml water
- 12 g salt
- 1 handful walnuts

- Put spelled and wholegrain spelled flour (can also be mixed in other proportions), yeast, salt and warm water in a large bowl and knead well. When the mixture is homogeneous, add the walnuts.
- Then let rise in a warm place covered with a damp kitchen towel for about 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
- Then knead the dough again briefly and form a loaf of bread. Make sure that no nuts are sticking out from the top, otherwise they will turn black.
- Put the bread in the oven for 45 minutes. Wet several times with a little salt water.
- When a nice crust has formed, check to see if it`s done (tap the bottom - if it sounds hollow, it`s done).
