Stuffed Fried Eggs

Stuffed eggs are frequent guest at festive tables. Eggs are usually boiled and then filled with egg yolk-based filling. First, we fry the half-breaded egg whites until golden brown! The filling is, in principle, classic, but very tasty – tuna with yolks and mayonnaise. The appetizer will turn out appetizing and unusual!

Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • Eggs – 4 pcs. + 1 pc. (for breading)
  • Canned tuna in its own juice – 100 g
  • Mayonnaise – 0.5 tbsp
  • Bread crumbs – 3 tbsp
  • Flour – 1.5 tbsp
  • Refined sunflower oil – 200 ml
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Fresh dill – to taste

Directions

  1. Prepare all the ingredients you need.
  2. Boil the eggs for 10 minutes in salted boiling water. Then drain the water, pour cold water over the eggs and leave to cool.
  3. Peel the cooled eggs, cut them into halves.
  4. Remove the yolks from the egg whites, transfer them to a bowl, we will need them for the filling.
  5. For breading, pour flour in one bag, and breadcrumbs in the second.
  6. Swirl 1 egg separately in a bowl.
  7. Breaded the halved egg whites first in flour.
  8. Then dip in a beaten egg.
  9. And in the third step, transfer the proteins to the bag of bread crumbs and shake them so that they are covered with an even layer of breadcrumbs.
  10. Fry the prepared egg whites in a large amount of well-heated oil until golden brown, put on a paper napkin.
  11. For the filling, add tuna to the egg yolks, pre-drain oil or juice. Add salt and black pepper.
  12. Lightly mash the tuna yolks with a fork, add mayonnaise.
  13. Mix the filling thoroughly.
  14. Place the fried egg whites halves on a plate and stuff with the cooked tuna filling.
  15. Sprinkle the stuffed eggs with chopped dill.
  16. Stuffed fried eggs are ready.
