Ingredients

  • 25 g thyme, sep.
  • 100 ml water, as needed
  • 150 g honey, from the beekeeper
Thyme Syrup
Thyme Syrup

Instructions

  1. Put the dried thyme in a saucepan and cover with water. But it shouldn`t be anymore. Put the lid on and bring to the boil. Cover and let stand for 15 minutes, strain and pour through a hair sieve, with the honey, into a sealable container. Put the lid on it while it is still hot and close it. Shake to loosen the honey.
  2. The syrup is ready!
  3. It can be served cooled, spoonfuls (teaspoons), several times a day, but at least 3 times a day.
  4. If you have fresh thyme, you take double the amount and again the herb should only be covered with water.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
