Put the quark in a bowl.
Cut the cucumber lengthways and scrape out the seeds with a teaspoon. Then coarsely grate the cucumber. Peel the garlic and press it through a garlic press. Add the garlic and cucumber to the quark and stir everything thoroughly. Add oil, salt, vinegar and dill and mix well.
Let it steep for about 30 minutes, then season again to taste.
