  • 200 ml soy milk (soy drink)
  • 0.5 ½ cube yeast, fresh
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 175 g flour, type 405
  • 100 g fat, vean butter
  • 100 g ranulated suar

Instructions

  1. The recipe makes 4 large waffles.
  2. Heat the soy milk in the microwave for about 30 seconds so that it is lukewarm. Dissolve the yeast and vanilla sugar in the lukewarm soy milk. Mix the flour and a pinch of salt. Add the yeast milk, stirring constantly, and mix everything into a dough.
  3. Heat the vegan butter in the microwave for about 30 seconds so that it is just liquid but don`t let it get too hot, otherwise the yeast will die. Knead the softened butter into the dough. Let rise in a warm place for 45 minutes.
  4. Just before baking the waffles, fold in the granulated sugar and let the dough stand for another 10 minutes.
  5. Spoon the waffle batter into the waffle iron and fry the waffles.
