- 140 g suar
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 100 g butter, soft
- 1 egg (s)
- 200 g flour
- 0.5 teaspoon ½ baking soda
- 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt
- 130 g chocolate, white
- 80 g nuts (macadamia nuts)

- Mix the sugar with the syrup in a mixing bowl until there are no more lumps. Stir in the softened butter and egg.
- Mix the flour, baking soda and salt in a second bowl and add to the butter mixture. Mix everything briefly to a soft dough, but do not stir for too long!
- Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
- Chop the white chocolate and nuts (you can also use salted nuts - rub them with a kitchen towel beforehand and do without the salt in the dough). Briefly stir both into the batter.
- Line two baking trays with parchment paper and use a tablespoon to place the dough in portions on the trays, about 5 cm apart.
- Bake the cookies for about 15 minutes at 160 ° C until the edges are light brown. Then let it cool down on the baking sheet.
- Sufficient for approx. 30 pieces.
