Ingredients

  • 2 onion (s), red
  • 200 g cheese, (Mancheo), rated
  • 200 g cheese, (cheddar), rated
  • 2 large tomato (s)
  • 1 salad
  • Ketchup
  • mustard
  • Sauce, (barbecue)
  • 800 g beef, from the topside
  • salt and pepper
  • 4 buns, (burger buns)
  • 200 grams bacon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to approx. 240 degrees. Cut the onions into rings, grate the cheese and prepare. Cut the tomatoes into slices, wash the lettuce. Make a burger sauce with equal parts of ketchup, mustard and BBQ sauce.
  2. Turn the beef yourself into minced meat or use purchased ground beef. Season with salt and pepper and mix well. Shape them into balls weighing approx. 200 g and knead a little. Moisten your hands or a minced meat press with a little water and form flat patties from them, making a shallow hollow in the middle with the heel of your hand.
  3. Now grill the first side of the burger for about 4 minutes, grill the second side for about 2 minutes. Put the grilled meat aside, place the onion rings on top and sprinkle with the cheese so that it melts easily. Now place the bacon on the grill, place the cut side of the rolls on the warming area of the grill and roast them briefly.
  4. Now brush the bottom of the burger buns with the burger sauce. Then cover with lettuce and tomatoes and place the meat on top. Finally, put the bacon on top and put the lid on it.
