Ingredients
- 200 g almond (s) (almond leaves)
- 350 grams sugar
- 4 apples (best Boskop), chopped up
- 1 stick cinnamon
- 1 star anise
- 1 tonka bean (s), cut up
- 1 vanilla pod, sliced
- 200 g raisins
- 1 bottle schnapps (fruit schnapps your choice)
- possibly rock sugar if required

- Heat the almond leaves together with the sugar on a low flame so that the sugar caramelizes and the almonds turn lightly brown. Add the apples and fry everything together until soft.
- Put the apple and almond mixture in a bottle with a wide neck. Add the raisins, cinnamon stick, star anise, sliced tonka bean and sliced vanilla pod and pour up with the fruit schnapps.
- Strain after four weeks and, if necessary, add some rock candy if it is not sweet enough.
