Ingredients

  • 1 egg yolk
  • 120 g powdered suar
  • 135 g butter
  • 260 g flour
  • 40 ml apricot liqueur
  • 1 orange (s), grated peel
  • salt
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Mix powdered sugar with flour. Add salt, egg yolk and apricot liqueur. Work into a dough with the grated orange peel and margarine.
  2. Pour the batter into a piping bag with a large star nozzle. Squirt stars about 4 cm in size onto a baking sheet lined with baking foil. Bake the stars in the preheated oven on the middle rack at 180 degrees (gas: level 3) for about 12 minutes and leave to cool on a wire rack.
  3. Serve dusted with powdered sugar.
  4. Preparation time: approx. 25 minutes
  5. Baking time: about 12-15 minutes
