Apple Curd Dough Roll

Another great dough recipe that you can make in advance is curd dough! Any filling is suitable, today – apples and nuts! It turned out very tasty, it’s easy to repeat!

Ingredients

For dough (for 4 rolls):

  • Cottage cheese (5%) – 250 g
  • Butter (softened) – 200 g
  • Sugar – 3 tbsp
  • Flour – 350 g

For the filling (for 1 roll):

  • Apples – 2-3 pcs.
  • Ground nuts – 3 tbsp (to taste)
  • Sugar – 3 tbsp (to taste)

To grease the dough:

  • Egg (yolk + white) – 1 pc.
  • Milk – 1 tbsp

For decoration:

  • Powdered sugar

Directions

  1. You can knead by hand, but today we will use a mixer. We send soft butter, cottage cheese and sugar to the bowl.
  2. We grind everything well and gradually add flour. Knead soft and smooth dough.
  3. Divide the finished dough into four equal parts. We transfer each piece to a bag, where we carefully roll it out.
  4. We send these blanks to the refrigerator at least overnight (it is possible for a day). You can store this dough in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
  5. Let’s take care of the filling. We make crumbs from nuts.
  6. Cut the apples into small cubes.
  7. Roll the curd dough into a thin layer. Grease the edges with egg white so that everything sticks together well. First of all, we pour in the nuts, they will take excess juice from the apples and will not let the dough get wet. Sprinkle with sugar to your taste.
  8. Distribute the apples and wrap the dough in a roll.
  9. Carefully put the roll on a sheet and grease with whipped yolk and milk.
    We bake a roll of curd dough in a preheated oven for 30 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.
  10. The curd roll with apples and nuts is ready, the crust is ruddy and crispy! The roll itself is very soft!
  11. Lightly, for beauty, sprinkle with powdered sugar, and you can serve with tea!
  12. The curd dough surprised, it turned out very tasty! The filling is delicious, juicy!
