  • 1 kg Brussels sprouts
  • 250 ml milk, cold
  • 75 g butter
  • 20 g flour
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Boil the Brussels sprouts in lightly salted water for 20 minutes, drain, rinse in cold water and save some water. Heat the butter, dust the flour, keep stirring, slowly stir in the cold milk and season with the cooking water, depending on how thin you want it to be. Season to taste with nutmeg, salt and pepper.
  2. Very good with potatoes and pan-fried foods.
