Casserole Melting in Your Mouth Tenderness

Potato and minced meat casserole with vegetables – delicious melt in your mouth! Insanely tender minced potato casserole, impossible to stop! Taste of the most common foods

Cook: 50 minutes

Ingredients

  • Raw potatoes, peeled – about 800 g
  • Minced meat – 600 g
  • Onions (small) – 2-3 pcs.
  • Tomatoes – 2 pcs
  • Bulgarian pepper – 1 pc.
  • Hard cheese – 100 g
  • Chicken egg – 1 pc.
  • Milk (optional) – for mashed potatoes
  • Vegetable oil – for frying
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Greens to taste
  • Minced meat seasoning – to taste

Directions

  1. First of all, put the potatoes to a boil. Do not forget to salt the water well. Cook the potatoes until tender, 20-25 minutes.
  2. Fry onions, bell peppers, and minced meat in a well-heated skillet with vegetable oil. Add tomatoes, salt, pepper, and your favorite minced meat seasoning to the sautéed minced meat with vegetables. Leave to simmer for another 5-10 minutes, until the minced meat is fully cooked.
  3. From boiled potatoes, make mashed potatoes with butter and egg. Add a little hot milk if necessary. Salt the finished mashed potatoes to taste.
  4. Grate the hard cheese.
  5. Form a casserole. To do this, first, place half of the mashed potatoes in a mold and gently flatten. Next, distribute the fried minced meat with vegetables, also flatten.
  6. Spread the remaining half of the mashed potatoes evenly on top. Cover everything with grated cheese.
  7. Place the potato casserole with minced meat and cheese in a preheated oven until the cheese is melted. This is about 10-15 minutes. Sprinkle the prepared potato and meat casserole with herbs, cut into portions, and serve!
  8. Do not be too lazy to cook potato casserole with minced meat, because it is really delicious!
