Champignons with Curd Cheese and Herbs, Baked in Bacon

  • Champignons – 250 g
  • Curd cheese – 100 g
  • Bacon – 100 g
  • Onions – 80 g
  • Fresh dill – 20 g
  • Vegetable oil – 30 ml
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste


  1. Wipe the champignons with kitchen napkins, carefully remove the mushroom legs.
  2. Finely chop the mushroom legs. Peel and wash onions. Cut the onion into small cubes.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan put the onion and chopped mushroom legs. Fry for 5-7 minutes over low heat, stirring occasionally.
  4. Rinse the dill and chop finely.
  5. Turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees. Put curd cheese in a bowl, add mushrooms fried with onions, dill, salt, and black pepper.
  6. To stir thoroughly. The filling is ready.
  7. Fill the mushroom caps with the prepared filling.
  8. Cover the baking dish with foil. Wrap a strip of bacon over each mushroom. Put the mushrooms in a mold.
  9. Bake mushrooms at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
  10. Champignons with curd cheese and herbs baked in bacon is ready.
  11. You can serve mushrooms with a side dish. For example, with mashed potatoes or rice, such mushrooms will go well. Bon Appetit!
