Chicken Drumsticks on the Grill, in the Sour Cream Marinade

by Editorial Staff

For fans of chicken, I recommend cooking whole chicken drumsticks in the sour cream marinade with red wine at a picnic, on charcoal. It is such a marinade that will allow you to reveal the tenderness of chicken meat while maintaining its light and natural taste.

Ingredients

  • Chicken drumsticks – 6 pcs. (1.2 kg)
  • Sour cream 20% fat – 3 tbsp
  • Red wine – 50 ml
  • Seasoning for chicken – 10 g
  • Sunflower oil – 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

Directions

  1. We prepare all the ingredients.
  2. Salt and pepper the chicken drumsticks to taste.
  3. We prepare the marinade. Pour wine into a bowl, add sour cream, chicken seasoning and sunflower oil. Mix everything thoroughly.
  4. Put the chicken legs in a suitable bowl (glass or enamel) and fill them with marinade. Rub the marinade well into the chicken drumsticks for about 3 minutes.
We send the bowl to the refrigerator. There the drumsticks will be marinated from 3 hours to 1 day. The longer the chicken is marinated, the softer it becomes. I left the chicken drumsticks in the sour cream marinade overnight.
  5. We fill up the charcoal on the grill and light the fire. When the coals are burned out, pour water over the flame so that there is no open fire.
  6. Place the chicken drumsticks on the wire rack.
  7. We send the grill to the grill.
  8. Cooking chicken drumsticks on the grill for 30 minutes, turning the wire rack every 5 minutes.
  9. Remove the grill from the grill and serve the fried chicken drumsticks to the table.

Bon Appetit!
