Ingredients

  • 1 chicken (approx. .2 kg)
  • 3 tablespoon honey, more liquid
  • 5 tablespoon orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon mustard, hotter
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ pepper, white
  • 3 tablespoon oil
  • Thyme, a few sprigs it, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Rinse the chicken, pat dry and divide into 8 portions.
  2. For the marinade, mix the honey with orange juice, mustard, soy sauce and pepper well. Brush the chicken pieces with the marinade and let it steep for about 2 hours.
  3. Heat the oil in a roasting pan and fry the chicken parts well on all sides. Possibly add a little marinade and cook slowly for 30-45 minutes. Turn from time to time and add a little water if necessary.
  4. Serve the cooked chicken garnished with sprigs of thyme.
