I recommend preparing such a roll of yeast dough for Christmas. It turns out the roll is airy, tasty and very festive in appearance.
Ingredients
Eggs – 3 pcs.
Sour cream – 100 g
Milk – 250 ml
Butter – 50 g
Creamy margarine – 25 g
Vegetable oil – 25 ml
Flour – 500 g
Sugar – 150 g
Dry yeast – 7 g
Salt – 0.5 teaspoon
Poppy – 25 g
Raisins – to taste
Egg yolk (for greasing the roll) – 1 pc.

Directions
Heat the milk slightly until warm (35-37 degrees). Add 0.5 tablespoon to the milk. tablespoons of sugar.
Then add salt.
Pour dry yeast and a tablespoon of sifted flour there. Leave the dough in a warm place for 15-20 minutes.
Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Add the remaining sugar and sour cream to a bowl of yolks. Mix everything with a whisk.
Add the yolk mass to the dough.
Melt the butter and margarine and add to the dough together with vegetable oil.
Whisk the egg whites in a separate bowl.
Add proteins to the dough. Mix gently.
Rinse the raisins, dry them and roll them in flour. Put it in the dough.
Then we will gradually add the sifted flour and knead the dough.
Using hands sprinkled with flour, knead the dough very well for 10-20 minutes. It should be pliable and soft. To prevent the dough from sticking to your hands at the end of kneading, you can add a little vegetable oil. Cover the yeast dough and leave to rise in a warm place for a couple of hours.
After that, divide the dough for the roll into 3 parts. Let’s make sausages out of two.
We will intertwine them and connect the edges, forming a ring.
From the third part of the dough, we will also make a sausage and put it around the bottom of the roll. Let’s leave the roll for 15-20 minutes.
Lubricate the roll with egg yolk and sprinkle with poppy seeds. Let’s send a roll of yeast dough into the oven, preheated to 190 degrees, for 30 minutes.
Let us cool the finished Christmas roll and serve it to the table.
