Mix the melted butter with the powdered sugar with a wooden spoon. Then add the flour mixture and work it by hand into a shortcrust pastry. Shape it round and flat, then wrap it in cling film. Place in the fridge for 30 minutes.
In the meantime, preheat the oven to 200 ° C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Divide the dough (that`s how I always do it) and roll it out on a lightly floured work surface to a thickness of 5 mm. Cut out circles with a round 8 cm cookie cutter. Place these on the baking sheet with the help of a spatula. Continue like this until the batter is used up.
Bake the biscuits in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, check and do not let them get too dark. Take out and let stand briefly. Then place on a wire rack with a spatula and let cool down completely.
These are very simple, crumbly biscuits that taste great all year round. Also ideal for children with a glass of milk.
