Ingredients

  • 500 g oat flakes, coarsely and finely mixed
  • 50 g walnuts, chopped
  • 50 g almond (s), chopped
  • 50 g cashew nuts, chopped
  • 100 ml maple syrup
  • 50 g sultanas

Instructions

  1. Toast the not too finely chopped nuts in a large pan, stirring regularly, until golden brown. When they are fragrant and nicely colored, sprinkle half of the maple syrup over them and keep stirring until all of the liquid has evaporated. It`s very quick. Then take the pan off the heat and set it aside.
  2. In the meantime, place the oat flakes on a large baking sheet and spread the remaining 50 ml maple syrup over it, mix everything well and then dry in the oven at 80 ° C, preferably with a fan, until it is completely dry.
  3. Finally, mix the oatmeal and brittle and add the sultanas to taste. Enjoy with mild natural yoghurt or cool milk.
