Ingredients

  • 1 clove garlic
  • 400 g potato (s), raw, cut into 2 mm thick slices
  • Salt and pepper and nutmeg
  • 100 ml milk
  • 100 ml cream
  • 50 g cheese (Gouda), finely sliced
  • 30 g butter

Instructions

  1. Cut the garlic clove lengthways. Rub a large, flat baking dish well with the cut surface of one half of the toe. Place the potato slices in the peel in a fan shape. Do not arrange in several layers on top of each other. Season well with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Press the garlic halves as desired and add.
  2. Pour in the milk first, then the cream. The potatoes should not be completely covered with cream and milk. Spread the grated cheese thinly over the top and cover with flakes of butter. Cook in the microwave for 14 minutes at 500/650 W.
  3. The liquid should then be slightly thickened.
