Curd Breakfast

by Editorial Staff

Delicious, light breakfast dessert made from kefir with prunes!

Ingredients

  • Kefir – 1 liter in a cardboard bag (this is important!)
  • Cookies or flakes – 100 grams
  • Any dried fruits (or fresh fruits – berries) – 100 grams

Directions

  1. If there is a closed bag of kefir in the refrigerator, and you no longer have the strength to drink it, then you can make a light “curd” from it.
  2. Put the bag in the freezer in the morning, and in the evening cut it and fold it onto a fine sieve or cheesecloth. By the morning, you will get a tender sour cream mass, very light in comparison with sour cream. And very inexpensive compared to purchased cottage cheese. 🙂 And for complete happiness, we do this. Put finely crushed cookies in a glass. (An even lower-calorie option is oatmeal.) Top – chopped prunes, then part of the “curd”.
  3. And we alternate the yogurt curd with prunes and cookies until the ingredients run out.
  4. Dessert from kefir with prunes is ready – tasty, light, not greasy!
