Five-minute Croutons with Cheese (in the Oven)

Cheese croutons are the perfect hearty quick breakfast, the aroma of which will instantly gather the whole family at the table. Crispy bread slices and a delicate filling of cheese and green onions. Try this recipe for oven-baked cheese and green onion croutons. It will take very little time.

Servings: 6

Ingredients

  • White bread – 1 pc.
  • Hard cheese – 150 g
  • Sour cream – 50 g
  • Butter (room temperature) – 20 g
  • Green onion – 4-5 feathers
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

Directions

  1. Three hard cheese on a coarse grater.
  2. Chop the green onion finely.
  3. Add onion, sour cream, soft butter to the cheese, salt, and pepper to taste.
  4. Mix thoroughly.
  5. Cut the loaf into slices.
  6. Spread each slice of bread with cheese filling and place it on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. We bake croutons with cheese in the oven at 200 degrees for 15 minutes.
  7. Let the finished cheese croutons cool slightly on the wire rack.
