Ingredients

  • 800 g potato (s), cooked
  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 150 g pork belly, smoked, diced
  • 1 large onion (s), diced
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 teaspoon, heaped marjoram, rubbed
  • Clarified butter
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 1 bunch chives

Instructions

  1. Sauté the chopped onion in a pan in lard until translucent, add the chopped bacon and fry. Then put both in a bowl and set aside. Fry the minced meat in the same pan until completely cooked through. Then season with salt and pepper and add to the bacon and onions.
  2. Peel the potatoes, cut them into slices and fry them in clarified butter in the same pan until golden brown. Season with salt and marjoram and then add the bacon, onions and minced meat and mix everything together. If necessary, season again with salt and pepper. Distribute on 4 preheated plates.
  3. Fry 4 fried eggs in another pan and place one egg on each of the Gröstl. Sprinkle with chives cut into rolls and serve.
