Ingredients

  • 1 packet pizza dough
  • 1 bottle sauce (barbecue sauce)
  • 500 g pork, shredded, seasoned (yros)
  • 100 g cheese, rated
  • 1 bunch spring onion (s)
  • 200 g mushrooms
  • 0.5 clove ½ garlic
  • 1 cup sour cream or crème fraîche with herbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F)
  2. Clean and slice the mushrooms
  3. Spread the barbecue sauce on the pizza dough
  4. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat, add the shredded gyros meat, and fry for 2 minutes until heated through
  5. Add the mushroom slices and fry for 3-4 minutes until softened
  6. Spread the gyros and mushroom mixture on the pizza dough and sprinkle the grated cheese on top
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden
  8. While the pizza bakes, cut the spring onions into rings and mince the garlic clove (or press through a garlic press)
  9. Mix the spring onion rings, minced garlic, and herb sour cream together
  10. Remove the pizza from the oven and spread the herb sour cream mixture over it
  11. Serve immediately
