Ingredients

  • 400 g meat loaf, meat loaf
  • 3 small bell peppers, red, yellow, green
  • 1 large onion (s), vegetable onion

  • 250 g low-fat quark
  • 250 g sour cream or crème fraîche
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tablespoon spice mixture, (gyros spice)
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut the meat loaf into strips, mix with the gyros spice and 1 tablespoon of oil and let stand for about 5 minutes. Cut the peppers into strips, quarter the onion and also cut into thin strips.
  2. Roughly grate the cucumber, peel and chop the garlic. Mix the sour cream with the quark, season with salt and pepper and stir in the cucumber and garlic.
  3. Fry the meat loaf in 1 tablespoon of oil for about 2 minutes, add onions and paprika and fry for another 8 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  4. Arrange everything on plates, serve with the quark. Flatbread, baguette or rice go well as a side dish.
  5. Instead of paprika, you can also fry finely grated white cabbage and / or carrot sticks.
