Herring and Beet Salad with Orange Sauce

The ingredients for the herring salad are in front of you!
Boil the beets, cool, and peel. Cut the beets into slices and place on a plate. Drizzle with vegetable oil. Layout the olives.
Remove the zest from the orange on a grater. Peel the orange. Cut the pulp into small cubes. Mix the pulp and zest with sugar, put in a skillet and simmer the mixture by half over low heat.
Peel the skin and bones of the herring and cut the resulting fillet into pieces.
Peel the onion, wash and cut into thin half-rings.
Put pieces of herring and half rings of onion on top of the beets. Pour orange sauce over the beet and herring salad and garnish with fresh herbs. Salad with herring and beets with orange sauce is ready.
