Ingredients

  • 500g flour
  • 125 g almond (s), round
  • 250 grams sugar
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 250 g butter
  • 1 lemon (s), untreated, grated zest
  • Flour for the work surface
  • 1 jar jam (strawberry jam)
  • 150 g powdered suar

Instructions

  1. Sift the flour on the work surface, add the almonds and sugar, mix everything together and make a well in the middle. Add the eggs and butter in flakes, as well as the finely grated lemon peel. Knead everything quickly into a dough. Shape the dough into a ball, wrap it in foil and let it rest for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  2. Then roll out the dough about 2 mm thick on a floured work surface. Cut out cookies with round molds with a wavy edge, cut a hole in half of the cookies with a smaller round mold. Line the baking sheet with parchment paper, place the cookies on it and bake in the preheated oven at 175 ° for about 15 minutes.
  3. Let the biscuits cool down, then spread the strawberry jam on each biscuit without a hole and place a biscuit with a hole on top. Let it dry a little and dust with icing sugar.
