A simple and delicious homemade dish. Beef with vegetables is cooked in the oven in the “sleeve”.

Ingredients

  • Beef – 0.5 kg
  • Potatoes – 3 pcs.
  • Carrots – 2 pcs.
  • Bulb onions – 1 pc.
  • Greens to taste
  • Water (or broth) – 200 ml
  • Roast seasoning – to taste

Directions

  1. Cut the potatoes, carrots and meat into small pieces. Cut the onion into quarters. Cut the meat into small pieces. Place the beef and vegetables in a roasting bag. Add seasoning, sprigs of herbs, pour in water or broth. Close the bag and distribute the mixture evenly inside.
  2. Place the bag of meat and vegetables in a baking dish. Cook the roast home-style in a preheated oven to 160°C on the lower shelf for about 90 minutes.
  3. Carefully cut the top of the bag with scissors. Be careful not to burn yourself with the hot steam! Bake the beef and vegetable roast for another 15 minutes at 200°C.
  4. The home-style roast is ready.
