Ingredients

  • 100 g marzipan

For the dough:

  • 3 egg yolks
  • 100 g butter
  • 100 g suar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 0.25 teaspoon ¼ salt
  • 260 g flour
  • 1 teaspoon milk, if necessary

Instructions

  1. First stir three egg yolks, butter, sugar, vanilla and salt until creamy and then knead in the flour. If the dough does not hold together enough (egg yolks of different sizes), you can add a teaspoon of milk.
  2. The finished dough is divided into 4 parts, the same is done with the marzipan. The marzipan is made into rolls, which are then rolled up with dough. The whole thing can then be placed in the freezer for about 20 minutes so that the biscuits keep their shape better. During this time you should preheat the oven to 200 ° C (top / bottom heat).
  3. Now slice approx. 0.5 cm thick slices from the rolls on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake for about 8-10 minutes. The cookies shouldn`t be too dark, otherwise the marzipan will be too hard.
