Ingredients

  • 6 slices bread, older, like sourdough bread
  • 100 g butter
  • 12 egg (s)
  • 125 g bacon, diced
  • 1 onion (s), red
  • 1 tablespoon cheese (Grana Padano), grated
  • salt and pepper
  • chili

Instructions

  1. Dice the bot and onions and whisk the eggs with the cheese and spices. Heat the butter in a large pan, fry the onions and the bacon cubes in it and add the bread cubes.
  2. Fry everything for about 10 minutes, stirring constantly, until the bread cubes are nice and crispy. Then pour the egg mixture over it and stir-fry everything together until the egg has set.
  3. If you like, you can add paprika, curry, thyme or basil to the scrambled eggs or use three or four spring onions instead of the onion.
