Ingredients

  • 3 liters water
  • 2 kg sugar
  • 60 g citric acid
  • 3 lemon (s)
  • 3 handfuls lemon balm, torn leaves

Instructions

  1. Bring the water to the boil with sugar and citric acid. Simmer gently, stirring constantly, until the sugar has dissolved. Then remove from the stove.
  2. Cut the lemons into slices and add the lemon balm leaves to the hot liquid. Let it steep for two days, then strain and fill into bottles.
  3. A refreshing drink for hot days when diluted with water.
